Raven diary #43 Catsmastime again

Dear diary,

Raven here.

Folks. It’s that time of year again. My humans have put up their tree and are already rocking bad human Christmas tunes. One of the humans started writing a letter to the human Santa and that got me thinking about what I want from Santa Paws for Catsmas. I just can’t decide. I could use a new scratching post. The pink ones are really in style these days. Candy Catnip is also in style. I decide to get out a piece of paper and start writing a letter to the big fella.

Dear Santa Paws,

Meowy Catsmas! I hope this Catsmas season finds you well. I’m Raven Hanson. You may remember me from last year’s Catsmas Catapaloosa. Anyway, I’ve started thinking about what I want for Catsmas this year and here are my top 10 requests.

1. Yarnie Yarnball’s new record Cat and Mouse. It’s just such a good album, I deserve it on vinyl.
2. A nice pink scratching post.
3. Some delicious Candy Catnip.
4. A new mouse toy. I’ll name it Catolph, after your wonderful sleigh kitten, I promise.
5. I could always use new balls of yarn.
6. Freedom to snuggle in my handsome human’s bed as early as I want. Almost every night now, I have tried to sneak out of the basement at 2 or 3am and snuggle with my human while he recovers from surgery. Then, one of the adult humans comes in and locks me back up. It’s no fair!
7. I love annoying my humans, and I’ve heard these new Ripple Rugs do just that. I don’t know much about them, but I’ve heard they’re really fun.
8. I’ve heard my humans reading this animal murder mystery book called Shady Hollow. Unfortunately, I’ve only heard snippets, so I’d love it as a Catsmas present.
9. The whole series of Furry Potter movies.  
10. A peaceful Catsmas season
