Raven diary #20: Frenemie Revenge

Dear diary,

Raven here.

Folks. You’re not going to belive your whiskers. The humans left open their back door last night! A simply purrrrrrrfect opportunity to go out and get my revenge on Lollipop for the whole Catsmas purrrty.

After patrolling the house up and down to make absolutely sure every human is making that human sleep noise, I slink out the back door, which is open just ajar. I paw my way through the shrubbery until I find the purrfect spot to hide out until I find him. I drop into a low crouch and carefully claw my way under the handsome boy’s metal ramp. I curl myself into a tight, black feline ball so no one will notice me. All I can do now is wait.

There he isss!!!!!! “MROWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.” I pounce on my frenemie, pinning the orange tabby to the ground. “We need to talk, Lollipop.” I pronounce the word Lollipop with pure, vigor, emphatics, richness and crispness.

“What exactly about.” Lollipop yowls in sharp feline demand.

“The horrible, electrifying, shocking Catsmas purrrrrrrty.”

“Ravie,” Lolli meows questioningly. “The Catsmas purrrrrrty and any mention of it is OVER, alright? We’re practically at the end of Jancatuary and nearing Felineuary. Can we just have a normal frenemie battle purrrrrlease.”

“I WON’T LET THAT HAPPEN UNDER ANY PURRRRRRRCOMSTANCES, OKAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I yowl so loud I swear the feline Gods up in heaven can hear me!

“FINE!!!!!!!” Lolli growls. “but I’m gonna regret it.”
